Police Seek Teen Macbook Thieves In Manhattan

Police are looking for three teenagers who stole a computer and taught one resident a hard lesson about keeping the doors locked.

Officials say a tenant of 132 Thompson Street left the apartment door open. Upon returning, a Macbook was discovered missing.

Investigators say they are looking for three teenagers who are believed to have committed the crime on December 28. Police say they believe the teens are captured on surveillance video contained in the above clip. They enter the apartment and then take off just a few minutes later.

The boys are described as 14 to 17 years old, around 5-feet-5 to 5-feet-8-inches tall, and weighing from 145 to 175 pounds.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
