Officials Hold Brooklyn Gun Buyback

The New York City Police Department and Brooklyn district attorney's office handed out $200 bank cards Saturday to anyone who turned in a working handgun at the Bedford Central Presbyterian Church in Crown Heights.

As usual, no questions were asked. Working rifles and shotguns could be exchanged for $20 bank cards.

Since 2008, more than 7,000 guns have been turned in because of the buyback program.
