The DOC says the bus was heading north on Interstate 87 when the accident occurred
around 10:30 a.m. in Ramapo. N.Y.

The inmates had been jailed in the city temporarily for court appearances.

All inmates and staff were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in nearby Suffern for treatment.
