Police shut down a section of the FDR Drive this morning due to a serious accident.The accident was reported after 3 a.m.
near the Williamsburg Bridge and Grand Street.All lanes are currently blocked in that area, as emergency crews investigate the accident and clear the scene.Heavy traffic delays are expected in that area.
