Fire Breaks Out In Berriman Street Building In East New York



 BROOKLYN — An early morning blaze broke out in a second-floor apartment in an East New York building Thursday, fire officials said.

The fire started just before 2 a.m. at 319 Berriman St., FDNY officials said.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze at 2:21 a.m.

One firefighter suffered a minor injury and was taken to Kings County Hospital, officials said.
