Crews are on scene at a building collapse in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn, where several construction workers were trapped.
The three-story building is on Brighton Fifth Street.
Rescuers have pulled two people from the rubble. One worker was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The city buildings department said engineers are responding.
