Police are investigating how an 11-month-old died early Saturday.
An 11-month-old boy died early Saturday after his mother found him unconscious inside their Brooklyn apartment, police sources said.
The unidentified woman walked into her Shepherd Ave. home in Cypress Hills to find the limp child with her boyfriend about 4:30 a.m., the sources said.
The little boy was rushed to Kings County Hospital, but he could not be saved.
It was not immediately clear how the child died, but sources said he appeared to have head trauma. An autopsy will determine the cause of death.
Both the mother and the boyfriend were still being questioned by detectives a few hours hours later.
