West Indian Day Parade Violence: At Least One Person Stabbed to Death

The West Indies Day Parade went off well, with no reports of major violence. However that wasn't the case once the parade was over.

NYPD responded to numerous shootings and stabbings once the parade was over and crowds were heading home or to after parties.

Unfortunately a Male was stabbed in the neck at 1394 St Johns Place, blocks away from the parade route.  The victim, a Hispanic 26 year-old male was transported by paramedics in cardiac arrest to Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
According to police a suspect is under arrest.
