BREAKING: 16 Hurt in Queens Bus Accident




An accident involving an MTA bus and an SUV in Queens has injured 16, four seriously, according to authorities.

 
Officials said the accident happened at around 3:30 p.m. at 108th Street and the Horace Harding Expressway in Corona.
 
Police confirmed the bus collided with a black SUV, causing the accident.
 
Four people are in serious but stable condition, and 12 other passengers suffered minor injuries. They are being treated at Forest Hills Hospital.
 
Other passengers were treated at the scene and released. 
 
Police are still investigating the cause of the accident. Traffic is backed up around the scene, and delays have been reported on the Q23, Q58, Q88, QM10 and QM11 buses.
