A Bronx teen was killed Friday after he fell out of an apartment window.
Officials say Johan Hernandez, 15, was standing on a chair at a friend's home located at 1549 Townsend Avenue in Mount Eden when one of the legs broke.
They say he was trying to help put up a curtain rod when he fell out of the fifth floor window onto the pavement.
He was rushed to a local hospital where he later died.
Police say no one will be charged in the accident.
