Bronx Livery Service Owner Gunned Down; Police Search For Killer

A livery car service owner is dead after being shot near his Bronx office early Friday morning.

Police say Taylor Gordon, 40, died from a gunshot wound to the head.

His body was found inside of a Chevy Tahoe, across the street from his Platinum Car Service dispatch in Pelham Bay.

A dispatcher tells NY1 Gordon was getting something out of his trunk when he was shot.

She says the shooter did not appear to steal anything.

"Everybody's going to take this very hard. This was something that we did not expect at all, you understand? This was something from...I can't believe I'm going to come to work later and he's not going to be there," said Platinum Car Service Dispatcher Sindy Alamo.

Police have not made any arrests or released any information on suspects.
