A 16-year-old bicyclist was fatally struck by a car yesterday evening in Brooklyn.
The unidentified girl was hit at 6:05 p.m. by a white 2011 BMW at 21st Avenue and 62nd Street in Borough Park, police said.
"There was blood all over her face. You couldn't even see her expression, but we could hear her crying," said witness Gabriella Castalano.
Another witness, Isabella Mara, 15, said "it sounded like two cars crashed into each other."
The girl was pronounced dead at Lutheran Medical Center. The driver, whose name was also withheld, stayed at the scene of the accident and was not charged.
