A teen is dead after being stabbed outside a high school in Manhattan.
Police say 19-year-old Theodore Beckles was involved in a fight outside of a building on West 56th Street in Hell's Kitchen, which houses both the High School for Environmental Studies and Independence High School.
The Department of Education tells NY1 that Beckles, who was a student at Independence, was arguing with a student from Environmental when he was stabbed in the chest.
He was taken to Cornell Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Police say they are questioning witnesses but have made no arrests so far.
