Two teenagers were shot early Saturday at a house party in Suffolk County.
Police say a vehicle drove past a house party at 38 Ronald Drive East in North Amityville at about 12:15 a.m. Someone inside the car opened fire. At least five shots were aimed at a crowd outside of the home.
A 16-year-old Huntington Station girl was shot. She was rushed to Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow. She was listed in serious but stable condition.
An 18-year-old Copiague man was also shot. He was hit in the calf. He drove himself to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where he was treated and released.
The Suffolk County police continue to investigate. Detectives are asking witnesses to anonymously call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
