An off-duty police officer was shot and killed outside a strip club in Paterson, N.J., early Monday morning, according to police.
Cops were investigating a report of a robbery near the Sunrise Lounge when they were called to the strip club at about 3 a.m. The officers found the shot cop and rushed him to St. Joseph's Hospital where he died.
A witness told police on the scene at Straight Street that the gunman is a tall, Black man who was wearing jeans and a hooded-sweater.
The search is on for the shooter
