Emergency personnel pulled a man from the Central Park Reservoir Monday morning.
when the man, covered in a white sheet, was pulled out of the reservoir at 97th Street.
He appeared alert as he was brought down from a ladder used to pull him out of the water at around 7 a.m.
A steel fence about four-feet high surrounds the reseroir named for Jackie Kennedy Onassis.
It's not clear why the man ended up in the reseroir.
