NEW YORK—A man has been struck and killed by a Long Island Rail Road train at Penn Station.

Authorities say the unidentified victim was struck by an eastbound train as it left the station at 6:45 p.m. Sunday.

It's not immediately clear if he fell or jumped on to the tracks.

Police are investigating.
